Privacy policy

In short

• This website has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
• The enquiry form doesn't send or store anything. It opens your own email app, and you decide whether to send.
• We use the emails you send us only to reply and to deal with your enquiry.
• The map of our office loads from Google only if you choose to show it.

Who we are

This website is run by Workman Co Ltd., trading as Workman Hong Kong, Rm 310, 3/F, Hankow Centre, 5–15 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. For anything about this policy or your information, email info@workmanhk.com.

Enquiries and emails

The enquiry form works entirely in your browser. When you press “Open in my email app”, it builds an email addressed to info@workmanhk.com and opens it in your email app, or in Gmail or Outlook.com if you choose those. Nothing is sent to this website, and nothing you type is stored by it. The enquiry reaches us only if you press Send.

When you email us, we receive what you choose to include, such as your name, company, country, email address and the details of your enquiry. We use it only to:

• reply to you and prepare quotes;
• arrange and complete any deal you agree with us;
• meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We don't send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We keep correspondence only for as long as we need it for these purposes or as the law requires.

Google Maps

The map on the contact page loads from Google only if you press “Show map”. Until then, no request is made to Google. Once the map loads, Google may set cookies and process information about your visit under Google's privacy policy. The “Open in Google Maps” link takes you to Google's own website or app.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web server, it may process standard technical information to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We don't use this information to identify you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it for any purpose you have agreed to, in line with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Email info@workmanhk.com and we will reply within the time the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
